Lily Bouquet Cookie Decorating Class – Saturday, May 10

Class Time: 1:00PM – 3:30PM CST

Looking for a sweet treat for Mother’s Day OR a fun activity to do with mom? Learn all the skills you need to decorate this beautiful cookie lily bouquet!

No experience is required!! We will guide you through the entire process, providing tips and tricks to achieve professional-looking cookies.  Get all of your questions answered in this relaxed and supportive environment.

This is the perfect class for anyone celebrating Mother’s Day as we have a “2 for 1” ticket that allows for 2 people to decorate 1 bouquet. It’s the same amount of fun, without paying for 2 sets of cookies!

What You Will Learn:

• • Our favorite cookie and royal icing recipes
  • How to outline and flood cookies
  • Multiple piping techniques including how to get separate petals, how to pipe words on a cookie, and piping details
  • Using edible markers and airbrushing to add finishing details

  More Information:

  • Two ticket types are available. The normal ticket type is for each person to decorate their own lily bouquet. The “2 for 1” ticket type is perfect for multiple people to work together to decorate one bouquet. Each ticket will leave with 9 decorated cookies (i.e., 1 jar, 3 lilies, and 5 leaves.
  • Any children under age 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
  • All tickets are final sale and non-refundable or transferable to another date.  If you are unable to attend after purchase, you may gift your ticket to a friend.
  • Allergens & dietary restrictions: This class includes wheat, dairy, and eggs.  We do offer a gluten-free option.  Please note that foods are prepared in a kitchen that regularly uses most major allergens.

  Note: This location is different than our bakery.  Windy City Baker is a home bakery/cottage food operation.  I have rented an event space for this class to have sufficient room for teaching.
